Introducing the latest release today, with the themes of hybrid cloud leadership and ease of HCI adoption. This presentation is going to help you better understand how HCI with vSAN, is the starting point for those transitioning to a software defined, hybrid cloud infrastructure. Demo a live environment running on vSAN 6.7U1. Also demo of upgrading cluster from vSAN 6.5 to 6.7U1 using VUM tool.

We will take a look at a workflow I helped put together that can take you from Microsoft ISO all the way to a fully patched and configured template for use either manually via vSphere or ready to be called by vRealize Automation. We will take a look at tools various tools like the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Packer, the VMware OS Optimization Tool and PowerShell.
