VMUG Community Outreach and Service
VMUG is excited to launch our newest program, VMUG Social Impact, which is aimed at offering our members the opportunity to provide volunteer services and financial donations to help support various philanthropic organizations. As an added bonus, VMUG will match your donations to help out even more.
One of VMUG’s top priorities is creating a vibrant community by providing education, training, and networking opportunities to maximize our members’ use of VMware and partner solutions. We are extending our efforts of building a strong community by partnering with SocialCoding4Good. Through this program, you are able to help various causes such as disaster relief, education & literacy, human rights, and homelessness by lending your technical skills and time.
Through VMUG Social Impact, members are able to sign-up to volunteer based on abilities and availability, or are able to make a monetary donation. As icing on the cake, VMUG will match these donations to SocialCoding4Good. For every hour of volunteer service provided, VMUG will donate $10*. And for every $1 donation made by a member, VMUG will match it at $1*.
